A Mod Podge issue!
When I started into the "decoupaging thing" I used to apply that regular white glue or well the most common and popular one, Elmer's glue. At the beginning the results were considered by me kinda "decent" but still not good enough to my perfectionist criteria (that's my pet peeve when doing crafts!!...) I was never able to get a completely wrinkle free effect on my decoupage napkins until I bumped into the great MOD PODGE!! Back in my country, I have seen so many products that had quite a similar brand name but the results were not THAT different from using a regular glue, so I gave this product a try and voilá! The finish that I got on my decoupage works has been so splendid! Once you try this product you cannot stop!! I was even more impressed for the fact that this product has a double functionality as a glue and a sealer, so I didn't have to use varnish on top of them anymore and that's quite a relief and a a time saver!
